About the University

Near East University (NEU) is the most comprehensive educational institution in Cyprus, with 20 faculties, 6 institutes, 5 colleges, and 32 research centres. Over 28,000 students from 143 countries study across 196 undergraduate and 240 graduate programs.

NEU operates on a two-semester academic calendar with optional summer courses. Students can register directly for the spring semester, allowing them to study two academic levels simultaneously and save both time and tuition costs.

Admission Requirements

• Copy of valid passport (minimum 1 year validity)
• High school diploma / secondary school certificate
• Official transcript (min. 65% GPA for Medicine; 50%+ for all other programs)
• English proficiency: TOEFL 65 (IBT) or IELTS 5.5 — exempts from university English exam
• Deposit: €750–€2,000 depending on program to issue final acceptance
