Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University (KSTU / University of Kyrenia) is a specialist institution focused on health sciences and social sciences, located in Kyrenia, North Cyprus. Founded in 2013, it has rapidly established itself as a leading institution for Dentistry, Medicine, and allied health programs.

The university is particularly notable for its Dentistry program, for which EduBridge / SIK holds an exclusive 100% scholarship agreement — the only university in Cyprus where a full scholarship for Dentistry is available through our network.

KSTU accepts students with a GPA of 65% or higher for Medicine and Dentistry programs, and 50%+ for all other specializations. Application requirements are straightforward and the admission process is typically completed within 5–7 working days.

Admission Requirements

• Copy of valid passport
• High school diploma / secondary school certificate
• Official transcript of grades (65%+ GPA for Medicine/Dentistry; 50%+ for others)
• English proficiency: TOEFL 65 (IBT) or IELTS 5.5 preferred — exempts from English exam
• Registration fee: $400 after preliminary acceptance to issue final acceptance
• Deposit: $1,500 toward first semester fees (deducted from tuition on arrival)
• Payment by bank transfer with SWIFT receipt, or online payment with receipt + photo

Student Life & Living Costs

Kyrenia is one of the most picturesque cities in the Mediterranean — known for its Venetian harbour, crusader castle, and mountain backdrop. For health science students, the city offers a focused, safe, and manageable study environment.

Estimated monthly costs: accommodation €200–€380, food €140–€230, transport €30–€50, personal €100–€150. Total: approximately €470–€810 per month.

North Cyprus requires no entry visa for most nationalities. First-semester students need a round-trip ticket; after receiving residency, only a one-way ticket is needed for subsequent semesters.
